Qathryn Brehm moved downtown Los Angeles in 1979.

Her first loft was 3,000 sq. ft on the 11th floor of 8th and Spring St. She moved to the Arts District in 1985 and has been there ever since. Her background is in the decorative arts and early in her career she apprenticed under several well-known decorative artists. In 1980 she launched her own successful consulting and decorative arts business painting murals, faux finishes and photo backdrops. Her work still graces many Southern California homes. She is also an exhibiting artist and her past work included an iconic series of Girl Groups of the ‘60’s.
Twelve years ago she retrained in the digital arts and entered the world of computers. Until recently she worked as the director of marketing and community relations for a business improvement district. She is currently working on a diorama series using digital images and small constructions.
