This tour was a segment of the Nancy Mills monthly Conversation series.

The group met at my studio for brunch and brief introductions. I then took the group on an "insider's" walking & studio tour of the Arts District. With a stop at Art Share LA, a non-profit community-based arts learning destination for local emerging and established artists.

I introduced the group to Tracy Kelly, Executive Director of Art Share LA. Tracy gave us a tour of the two story facility including a closer look at the theater, the Lesley Gilb Taplin Library and the gallery.

Next artist Nancy Uyemura gave us a sneek preview of an up coming exhibit featuring her. paintings and photographs of Jamie Itagaki. We also visited the studio of Ms. Uyemura and saw studies for her public arts pieces and works in progress.
